Iduun was born to two Nord Farmers, who were very poor. They had tried their best to make a living off of their crops, but, with the weather in Skyrim, it was nearly impossible to get anywhere with growing. In order to keep the family out of becoming broke, Iduun was forced to learn magic to help the plants grow; she wished to keep the secret from her parents, as she wanted to them to feel as if they could grow the crops on their own. Years had passed; the crops were finally beginning to grow on their own, without the help of magic. At the age of 16, she left for The College of Winterhold, to further in the study of magic, as it had began to intrigue her. Not even four years later, she found herself as the Arch-Mage, a feat unheard of in the college. She is greatly skilled in magic, offering her abilities to any of the holds who may need it. Her best magic ability is within the Destruction and Restoration magic; she earned the title "Frost-Mage" after mastering all ice-related magic before anyone else in the college. She also has a horse named Vigilance.
